Official Status Georgian is the official language of Georgia and is also spoken in parts of Azerbaijan, northeastern Turkey, and among communities in Iran.
Unique Alphabet Georgian is written in its own script called Mkhedruli, which consists of 33 letters and is one of the world's original alphabets.
